Reporting Accountant Finance
Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa
An exciting opportunity has opened up within a dynamic finance team based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a technically strong CA(SA) with experience in group reporting, IFRS, and financial consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and submit monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Prepare IFRS calculations, tax returns, and support AFS preparation
- Assist with audit processes and liaise with auditors
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and working capital reports
- Continuously improve reporting accuracy and automation across systems
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- Strong technical understanding of IFRS
- Experience with group consolidations and multi-currency reporting
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, BI tools, and data analytics
- Knowledge of company tax and IFRS for SMEs
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organised
- A passion for automation and process improvement
