Our Wynberg-based client is expanding their team and is seeking a skilled Report Writer to translate market research findings into clear, insightful reports.
You will be responsible for analysing information gathered by Field Agents through interview, video recordings and written notes, and presenting it in a concise, client-friendly format.
Requirements:
Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
Own reliable transport
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Workspace and Design Apps
Strong verbal and presentation skills
Exceptional storyteller with a strong sense of flow, clarity and visual literacy
Strong writing skills with proven experience delivering clear, persuasive narratives
Demonstrated experience in business problem-solving and conceptual development
Logical and structured with the ability to simplify complex information
Experience in marketing, brand strategy and creative or communication related roles
Comfortable working with visuals, structure and formatting for clarity and impact
Proven ability to translate strategic brand content into engaging narratives
Able to articulate your thinking in a clear, confident and concise way
Conceptual thinker who connects dots and sees the bigger picture
Calm and grounded under pressure, handles deadlines and challenges with composure
Collaborative team player, open to feedback and able to work with different personalities
Curious, insightful and invested in getting to the heart of what matters
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create presentations from field insights and video edits into a clear, compelling product
Connect insights and brand strategy into a visually compelling story
Translate complex findings into meaningful narratives in a creative and energetic way
Understand presentation flow, packaging and design logic
Honouring field input and keeping true to consumer truths and voices
Simplify complexity and key insights that clients can easily grasp
Ensure outputs are strategically sharp and emotionally engaging
Ensure tone, language and visuals are consistent with company standards and style
Contribute to creative ideation and conceptual framing for proposals and presentations
Maintain the highest standards of clarity, and review and proof content to ensure accuracy and logical flow
Work with Project Manager to align on key deliverables
Participate in discussions to understand project objectives and client needs
Confident in presenting, and engaging in team discussions and client settings
Able to explain, defend and improve work through feedback, soundboarding and collaboration
Support the wider team where needed across storytelling, structuring and writing
Connect creative thinking with commercial outcomes, and pull in the right resources when needed
