Rental Agent
Job Description
A leading car rental company is looking for a friendly and service-driven Rental Agent to join their team. The successful candidate will assist customers with reservations, process rental agreements, and ensure a smooth rental experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with vehicle rentals
Prepare and process rental agreements and documentation
Explain terms and conditions of rental to customers
Upsell additional services (e.g., insurance, GPS, child seats)
Inspect vehicles before and after rental
Handle customer queries, payments, and returns
Maintain accurate records and work with booking systems
Requirements:
Matric certificate (Grade 12)
Previous experience in the car rental or hospitality industry is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate and able to work with booking systems
Must have a valid South African drivers license
Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
