Renewable Energy Finance Manager

Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full finance function, including month-end close, reporting, and audits.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis; identify and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with external service providers, including tax and accounting partners.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Administer inter-company contracts, insurance, lease agreements, and payment runs (local and cross-border).
- Project finance support: validate cost calculations, monitor project margins, prepare forecasts and variance analyses.
- Advise management on finance and tax matters; assist in strategic projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Completed accounting articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience overseeing a full finance function and leading junior team members, ideally within the renewable energy, power, or alternative energy sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management for energy projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong time-management skills.
- SAP experience and company secretarial knowledge advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally
