Relocate to New Zealand - Veterinary SurgeonAre you an adventurous Emergency Veterinarian looking for an exciting opportunity in Auckland, New Zealand? We have an excellent position for you in a private, independently owned animal referral practice that has been thriving since 2016. Join us in either Albany, North Shore, or Freeman's Bay, Auckland, with full-time and fixed-term positions available. You will be part of our esteemed team, which operates round-the-clock, focused on emergency and specialist veterinary care, including small animal surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, and more. We are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring you have everything you need to provide outstanding care.Location: AucklandPay: $120,000 - $140,000 NZD per annumWhy work for our client?

  • Provide high-quality emergency care for a range of cases from across New Zealand
  • Collaborate with specialists to manage inpatients, focusing on stabilisation, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Offer sound advice on animal health and welfare to clients
  • Prescribe and prepare medications, ensuring compliance with relevant Acts and professional codes
  • Maintain a high degree of computer literacy, time management, and adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • At least two years experience in high-quality small animal emergency practice
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated, adaptable with a positive attitude
  • Uphold high clinical standards
  • Compliance with Veterinary Council of NZ Code of Professional Conduct
