WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The main objective of the
Reliability Engineer (Mechanical)
is to enhance the reliability, performance, and longevity of mechanical equipment by implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analyses, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
In this function, you will be collaborating with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to initiate improvements and execute projects related to the equipment within the explosive environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, execute, and manage predictive maintenance systems.
Conduct plant criticality analysis to determine appropriate and effective maintenance techniques.
Develop Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes for new and existing assets.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
Develop proactive maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability.
Collaborate with project engineers to ensure the maintainability and reliability of newly installed and/or modified equipment.
Generate Life Cycle Asset Management processes and conduct End of life assessments.
Implement and manage Risk-based inspections.
Provide technical support to other teams, such as process, production and maintenance.
Manage approved CAPEX funds and relevant projects.
Manage subcontractors for specific projects and maintenance work.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
POST REQUIREMENTS:
BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 1 to 3 years' experience as a Mechanical/Plant or Reliability engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in Plant asset management practices would be advantageous
Experience in conducting failure investigations and facilitating Root cause analysis would be advantageous
Experience in Project management would be advantageous
Pro-active mindset.
Ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
Excellent in task management.
A flexible, independent and analytical thinker with thoroughness and tenacity.
