Key Responsibilities: * Git Process Management:

• Expertly manage Git processes, including merging, branching, and repository maintenance, for large teams working on multiple initiatives concurrently.
• DevOps and CI/CD:

• Champion and implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices to streamline the software delivery pipeline.
• Change and Release Governance:

• Establish and enforce robust change and release governance processes, ensuring accountability and compliance.
• JIRA Board and Backlog Management:

• Proficiently manage JIRA boards and backlogs, ensuring tasks and issues are well-defined, prioritized, and tracked.
• Stakeholder Communication:

• Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, providing domain readiness assessments and impact analysis for upcoming releases.
• Support Best Practices:

• Support development and QA teams in adhering to best practices for version control, release management, and deployment processes.
• Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release processes, increase automation, and reduce time-to-market.

Requirements:

• Expertise in large Retail Implementations and projects
• Expert knowledge of Git processes, including merging, branching, and repository maintenance.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth understanding of change and release processes, with a strong emphasis on governance and accountability.
• Proficiency in JIRA board and backlog management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform impact analysis effectively.
• Experience working with large development teams on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and industry standards.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Flexibility to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
• South Africa-based candidates preferred.
