Purpose of Position:
Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships through prompt communication, regular visits, and active engagement at industry events. Management of social media outreach and provide strategic feedback to support the growth and visibility of our genetic testing services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide required information and documents to clients.
• Prepare trip reports of client meetings to record the details for future reference.
• Submit client meeting reports to manager.
• Provide support and assistance to other management teams.
• Provide feedback to management on areas of improvements.
• Recommend implementation of enhanced processes.
• Plan and schedule meetings with clients.
• Ensure filing is kept up to date.
• Answering phone calls.
• Monitor client satisfaction through follow up on solving client issues and problems.
• Initiate measures to research and resolve client raised issues.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and implement value added services.
• Marketing of products to clients through meetings, attending auctions and online marketing.
• Stay updated with new technology and tests.
• Advise clients on technological improvements.
• Be available to discuss implementation in herds/studs.
• Assist clients with solving breeding and testing problems.
• Be prepared to write articles for the layman in breed journals.
• Help with management of social media accounts.
• Do presentations at congresses and breeder days/workshops.
• Keep up to date with all ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards and meet necessary quality control standards.
• Attend meetings and training opportunities to facilitate personal growth.
• Reporting/Logging of Non-conformances and complaints.
• Participate in meetings, conferences and courses to meet the minimum CPD point requirements for SACNASP registration.
• Ensure compliance with SANAS regulations.
• Ensuring team compliance with SANAS regulations/Health and Safety.
• Complying with Health and Safety protocols and regulations.
• Any specific instruction delegated by the Senior Managers or CEO.

Requirements:

• Advanced scientific degree (Hons/MSc) in related discipline.
• Experience in Sales/Marketing/Client Relations
• Excellent customer service
• Required to significantly travel to events and to meet with clients
• Applicants must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
