COMMUNITY SERVICES AND HEALTH COMMUNITY, ARTS AND CULTURE DEVELOPMENT
REINTEGRATION OFFICER
BASIC SALARY: R349 932 PER ANNUM REF NO: CACD 07/25 VARIOUS LOCATIONS
Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Three (3) to four (4) years experience within the social or community development context, preferably within the street people sector
• Computer literacy in MS Office suite
• A valid Code EB drivers licence
• Ability to do an extensive amount of walking whilst on duty and assist with the physical aspects of moving peoples belonging.
• Note: The successful incumbent may be required to work outside of normal working hours which may include weekends and public holidays.
• Note: The successful incumbent will be required to work shifts and work in extreme weather conditions.

Key performance areas:

• Implement programmes and interventions aimed at people who are homeless and living on the streets
• Assist with the collation of information and data relating to individuals, families and groups of people living on the street
• Report on interactions, programmes and initiatives to monitor progress to ensure the reintegration is successful and sustained
• Develop and maintain working relationships with all relevant interested and affected parties at local level
• Responsible for the administration and related functions which supports.
