Job Summary
Introduction:
A Vacancy exists for a Rehabilitation Practice Manager at the acute Rehabilitation Unit
Requirements:
xc2xb7 Degree or Diploma in nursing or 4 Year Degree as an Allied Health Professional
xc2xb7 Current registration with SANC / HPCSA
xc2xb7 Atleast 3-5 years post registration experience and proven leadership and/or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in the area of orthopaedics, neurology or rehabilitation)
xc2xb7 Participative and collaborative management style. Capacity to lead, foster and develop a healthy and positive working environment which actively promotes joint performance and value-based culture
xc2xb7 Demonstrated leadership excellence with proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, showcasing exceptional communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to drive optimal team performance and outcomes.
xc2xb7 Contemporaneous knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial relations, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards
xc2xb7 Understanding of the private healthcare and or funder industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.
xc2xb7 Post Graduate Management / Education qualification experience will be an advantage
xc2xb7 Computer proficiency
xc2xb7 Driver's license and ability to travel
