Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Theatre!
Are you a skilled and dedicated nurse with a passion for surgical care? Our private hospital in the Eastern Cape is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Theatre team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Post Basic qualification in Theatre Nursing
- Relevant experience in Theatre Nursing
- Training in theatre nursing is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team as needed
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
