Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse) - Theatre Anaesthetics
We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse with expertise in Theatre Anaesthetics to join a leading private hospital. In this role, you will deliver safe, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care in line with hospital standards and professional nursing best practice. You will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients, including the assessment, planning, and supervision of care, while serving as a role model in evidence-based clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and promote exceptional nursing care aligned with professional and ethical standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and oversee patient care to meet individual needs.
- Participate actively in clinical governance initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with SANC and all relevant healthcare legislation.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement within the theatre environment.
- Nursing qualification: Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree (or equivalent NQF 7 qualification).
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Proven experience in Theatre Anaesthetics is essential.
- Solid understanding of healthcare legislation, clinical theory, and specialised nursing practice.
- Knowledge of modern nursing principles and the ability to uphold high standards of care in a specialised setting.
