Our client is looking for a

Registered Nurse (RN) / Professional Nurse (PN)

with proven

UROLOGY experience.

This is for

fixed shifts

at a private practice group in

Pretoria (Gauteng).

Period:

Nov 2025 - April 2026 (off over Dec 2025)

Hours:

Mon - Friday 08:00 - 17:00



In November 2025 paid training will be provided and work starts in January 2026.

Minimum Requirements

Valid SANC licence Must have

own indemnity insurance cover

At least 6 months working experience in an

Urology

environment is essential A good understanding and application of the nursing scope of practice Knowledge of clinical procedures, relevant nursing legislation, the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles Management of surgical equipment and instruments Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols Risk management Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Own transport

Duties and Responsibilities

Uro-dynamic studies (for Gauteng Urology as well as other dr referred patients) Assist dr's in Stent removal procedures in rooms as well set up of scope for stent removal. Assist drs in Scope procedures in rooms. Responsible for all the stock that is necessary for UDS studies and stent removals in rooms. BCG Bladder Cancer installations (only Gauteng Urology practice) Teaching patients to Self-catheterisation - Register on Coloplast programme Changing of catheters - supra-pubic or urethral Nursing duties like: + Removing clips
+ Removing stents
+ Removing catheters
+ Small wound care
+ Giving of injections
+ Collecting of midstream urine
+ Uro-flow studies
+ Healthcare information on urology patients
Stock control and ordering of stock for practices PMA and application for chronic medication forms Quotations, billing and payments on uro-dynamic patients and BCG patients on Vericlaim * Traveling between 3 urology practices
