Job Description
Medwell SA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team in Kwa-Zulu Natal, at a retirement estate in Hillcrest for a half-day position (5 hours per day).
MAIN FUNCTION:
Co-ordination and management of all healthcare services offered in the retirement estate.LOCATION / SITE:
HillcrestQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse with Midwifery and interest in community healthcare services Knowledge and practical experience of the clinical and administrative requirements and procedures that are expected within the remit of a Registered Nurse, including nursing procedures, e.g. Intravenous Infusions (siting and maintaining), wound care, catheterisation Knowledge and practical experience of the professional requirements and procedures required as stipulated in the Scope of Practice of the South African Nursing Council Valid driver's license
COMPETENCIES:
Should appreciate the importance of person-centered care Experience in taking lead of the management of healthcare services and staff Good interpersonal skills Able to work in multi-disciplinary team Excellent communication skills Fully computer literate in Ms Outlook, Word and Excel
