POSITION TITLE:
Registered Nurse
LOCATION OF VACANCY:
Broadacres, Johannesburg.POSITION SUMMARY
Provide health care to residents at Evergreen. Provides skilled, professional, comprehensive nursing and person-centred care as prescribed by medical practitioners and in compliance with regulations of the South African Nursing Council, and the policies of Evergreen Health; taking accountability for their SANC scope of practice.
MINIMUM CRITERIA
Grade 12
Registration/Certificates:
SANC Registered staff (RN) Degree or Diploma / (EN / ENA) Diploma Care Workers - HW Accredited Home-Based Care Certification
Previous experience within a hospital / Sub-Acute facility
Experience in Geriatric Care will be advantageous.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
Works directly under the supervision of a Unit Manager
Work within the Nursing process to provide direct Nursing Care to assigned patients
Direct patient care within his/her scope of practice
Function as part of the team
Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
Oral and written communications skills.
Planning, organizational, leading and control skills.
Provide the highest patient care
Area and scope of Practice
Ethical and Legal Compliance
Leadership and Management
Teaching and Research
