Job Description

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Dispatch Department to ensure the proper functioning of systems.
Establish and uphold systems and protocols to guarantee the effective and efficient management of this operational area.
Exercise physical oversight over the goods and products housed in the warehouse.
Validate that only goods and products that have been invoiced to customers are prepared and dispatched.
Monitor the quantities of products within the Finished Goods Warehouses in collaboration with the Sales and Planning departments.
Oversee the loading and unloading processes of transporters and courier vehicles, while ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
Take responsibility for calculating and controlling load weights with transporters to ensure compliance with weighbridge tests and avoid penalties.
Manage and execute periodic stock counts, making sure to adhere to company stock count protocols.
Generate daily reports detailing warehouse stock availability from Zoho, matching Orders Received with Open Sales Orders, and distribute these reports to Sales Executives.
Keep track of serial numbers in Zoho Books, updating them as needed.
Regularly review and approve daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Manage Logistics Staff, Assistant & Co-Ordinator
Reporting weekly on transfer volume to Cape town and dispatch volumes to customers from Gauteng & other regions including errors.

Skills & Experience:
Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management
MS Excel Advanced Levels
ERP system management
5+ years of experience in a similar role

Qualification:
Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, warehousing
