Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced (WC ) Cape Town Regional Retail Manager who will be required to work on the following accounts

Accounts: Massmart, Checkers, Pick & Pay & Dis-Chem / Spar specifically to oversee our business operations in an assigned region / Electrical & Homeware / Houseware Items.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's Degree
• Valid driver's license

• Must have 5 - 7 years Wholesale Retail experience Placing wholesale orders on Household; Electrical Household; Floorcare etc with Buyers

• Must have experience working as an Area Manager in National Retailers?

Massmart; Checkers; Pick & Pay; Dis-Chem; Spar is the major accounts.

• Must have experience managing Sales Reps (you will be managing 6 - 8 reps)

Key Factors / Core components:

• As Regional Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability.
• Running a small-scale warehouse in terms of returns, repairs, etc.
• Be responsible for your own retail account and/or accounts as assigned by the company.
• Willing and able to work extended / flexi hours if and when required.
• Your duties will also include guiding the sales team (8-10 employees) in your region, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.
• To develop and execute an effective account strategy for growth in the region.
• Open and maintain new business.
• Must have strong administrative skills.
• Ensuring targets are met on a monthly basis.
• Must currently be working in the Retail Industry (Electrical & Homeware / Houseware Items)
