Job Description

Role Purpose




The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across a designated region, ensuring seamless execution of store processes aligned with the strategic goals of the business. This role plays a critical part in enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient operations, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Regional Operations Manager acts as a key liaison between stores and central operations, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet service level agreements and performance targets.


Role Description




Store Operations



Act as hands-on support to branches and the Help Centre to resolve operational issues. Conduct regular store visits to drive performance and ensure processes and procedures are followed. Conduct store operational audits to ensure compliance. Identify operational inefficiencies through GAP / SWOT analysis. Communicate store audit findings and ensure resolution thereof. Attend store openings and support the execution of the entire operational process. Coordinate the distribution of marketing material for new store openings. Implement operations flow from order injection to stores to handover to the driver and return and conduct product checks to increase the percentage of online orders.

Performance Management and Reporting



Track and analyse store performance metrics, including sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present regional performance reports to senior leadership. Identify trends and recommend strategic actions to improve regional performance. Set and monitor KPIs for stores and ensure alignment with business objectives. Lead performance review sessions with store leadership teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration




Work closely with cross-functional teams to align regional operations with broader business goals.


Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of operational policies.


Act as a key point of contact for resolving escalated operational issues.


Support the rollout of new systems, technologies, and process improvements across stores.


Training and Development



Conduct needs analysis to understand training and development needs. Execute / facilitate training of new or existing processes. Draw up operational process flows, and standard operational procedures as required.

Qualifications and Experience



Degree in Business, Retail Management, eCommerce or related - (essential). +6 years' experience in a similar capacity or role, executing store operations processes in a retail environment - (essential). Experience executing supply chain and logistics processes within a retail operations environment - (essential). Experience executing and facilitating training of retail operational procedures - (essential). Proficiency in MS Office 365 with well-developed Excel skills - (essential).
