Introduction
Our client in the and Supply Chain industry is in search of a Regional Manager Transport Cross Border.
This is a permanent onsite role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose Statement
The Regional Manager: Transport Cross Border is responsible for overseeing all transport-related processes, people, and operations, ensuring cost control, operational efficiency, and seamless service delivery.This role is required to ensure that all equipment and assets are tracked and managed in accordance with the management information system template and process.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Education (Formal Qualification Required)
Grade 12
Transport Industry related Tertiary qualification.
Advantageous - NQF Level 7 Degree / National Diploma in Transport Management / Logistics
Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, verbal and writing.
Legal Requirements (e.g. Drivers License, etc.)
Full understanding of cross border clearing process and compliant document management.
Experience
Minimum 8 years experience in managing cross border transport operations at operations manager level.
Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Operations.
Management skills.
Knowledge of bulk ore and break-bulk handling importing and exporting processes.
Excellent Leadership and Communication skills.
Problem-solving and Decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Advantageous- Application with proven side tipper bulk and flat deck experience, tautliner transport experience will be considered.
