Position Overview
An established clothing retail group in Midrand is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee the performance of its stores across Gauteng and surrounding areas. This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader with a strong background in fashion retail, operational excellence, and team development. The successful candidate will drive sales, elevate customer service, and ensure high standards across all locations in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to maintain brand consistency and achieve targets.
  • Build a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and succession planning across the region.
Operational Oversight
  • Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, operational procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess execution, provide feedback, and support in-store teams.
Sales & Financial Performance
  • Track and analyse KPIs including sales, UPT, ATV, and conversion rates to identify areas for growth.
  • Create and implement regional sales strategies to exceed revenue goals.
  • Oversee inventory levels, manage markdowns, and minimize shrinkage.
Customer Experience
  • Promote a customer-centric culture with consistently high service standards.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure a smooth in-store experience.
  • Ensure store environments reflect the brand's identity and values.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Contribute to regional strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Work closely with marketing, HR, and merchandising teams to drive regional initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years' experience in multi-store retail management, preferably in the clothing or fashion sector.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and manage operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
