Job Summary
To pro-actively manage a nationally based team of CPF: Valuations Administrators , to continuously review the processes and systems and evaluate the feasibility of suggestions and improvements

Operational ManagementTranslate and implement Property Risk operational goals into actionable operational plans. Identify inefficiencies in operational processes, implement best practices, and continuously monitor and address process gaps. Support automation initiatives introduced by business and risk to drive efficiency and sustainability.

Risk and ControlApply the highest standards of controls and risk management practices, embedding a positive risk and control culture. Ensure that the BCM Plan for the Business Unit is tested as required and corrective actions executed. Participate in developing Key Risk Scenarios, assessing likelihood and potential impact, and ensuring adequate control and documentation of all processes. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the control environment by analyzing potential risks, preventing errors, and addressing root causes. Ensure sound judgment, prudence, and appropriate escalations in managing risks across all areas. Drive high-quality decisions, solutions, and outcomes that balance the interests of the Bank and customers. Leverage quality checks and second opinion processes to improve decision-making standards and enhance customer solutions.

Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with regions, Credit Risk, and other key stakeholders to achieve common goals. Provide stakeholders with relevant credit support to ensure customer focus and relationships are maintained. Promote a positive reputation for Absa through professional and constructive dialogue in all interactions. Monitor complaints, resolve issues effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction. Perform vintage analysis and monitor conversion rates to drive insights and decision-making.

People Management & LeadershipDevelop and lead a high-performing team to achieve sustainable results. Dedicate quality time to onboarding and training new team members on processes, expectations, and role requirements. Foster professional and positive communication across internal and external stakeholders. Share best practices and knowledge by mentoring and participating in the development of colleagues across products and operational areas. Build and sustain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Education
