Job Description
One of the biggest Commercial Banks in the country is looking for a Regional Manager: Trade and Debtor Finance. You will be tasked with doing the following:
- Manage Sales Team and other resources with a hands-on approach to new business
- Develop sales strategies in conjunction with Senior Management, ensuring financial targets are achieved and a high level of engagement is provided to prospective clients
- Create and maintain appropriate internal and external networks to generate a strong flow of new business and create a visible presence for Sasfin in the market place
- Maintain strong, profitable relationships with existing clients while driving the acquisition of new business to create a strong pipeline of new business
- Responsible for the acquisition and management of key(large) accounts
- Overall responsibility for the sales target in Gauteng Province
- Contribute to the formulation of a sales strategy for Trade and Debtor Finance in the country and the overall Bank Strategy
- Postgraduate qualification in commerce, with a flair for financial analysis. CA qualification is an added advantage
- A minimum of ten years commercial banking/lending experience is required in a sales position with a good knowledge of trade and/or debtor finance
- At least five years of experience in a management role
