Job Description


Role: Regional Human Resource Manager

Location: Gauteng : Pretoria

Purpose: The HR Manager will lead all HR Practices and objectives that will provide an employee oriented high-performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment and is responsible for the development of processes and reporting metrics that support the achievement of the business goals (Group) and own area of responsibility.
In addition, the role coordinates Human Resource Management activities in the various operations. (NSPU Unsgaard, Green Tissue, Herbal & Homeopathic, LMP Warehouse and Regional Marketing & Sales).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or Commerce or Behavioural Sciences
  • Min 5 years experience within the Manufacturing Sector preferably FMCG.
  • Min 3 years in a relevant management role
  • Proven work experience as a Regional HR Manager
  • MS Office, Advanced MS Excel
  • Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, talent management etc.)
  • Understanding of full cycle recruiting
  • Good knowledge of local labour regulations
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources Management Software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Sound knowledge of all local labour laws
  • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence
  • Own reliable vehicle
Experience:
  • Above average ability to negotiate and gain cooperation from colleagues, staff and stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Problem solve, plan and prioritise tasks
  • Lead, mentor, motivate, resolve conflicts and develop staff
  • Provide detailed written reports to accompany financial results and policy documentation

  • Administer finances, forecast budgets and monitor financial procedures

  • Understanding of the Payroll process and procedures

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying the current as well as the future hiring needs of our company
  • Setting performance standards for evaluating local HR teams
  • Designing compensation and benefits packages for the employees
  • Defining onboarding procedures aligned with our companys culture
  • Helping us in our employer branding efforts (e.g. organizing recruitment events)
  • Developing training plans for employees and department
  • Preparing and managing the budget of the division
  • Tracking KPIs and also suggesting improvements
  • Designing as well as implementing company policies in compliance with our long-term business goals
  • Ensuring our HR processes adhere to all legal standards
  • Supporting managers and staff on daily issues
  • Coordinating with National HR Manager for crafting organization-wide objectives and strategies
