Job Description

Opportunity for a Regional Finance Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a regional property portfolio through managing staff, directing regional operations, facilitating management meetings, reviewing performance metrics and driving improvements across critical operational areas such as billing, debtors, leasing, facilities, and cash flow management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property & Portfolio Financial Oversight

• Monitor and analyze regional property portfolio performance against budgets and benchmarks
• Investigate financial variances and underperformance at property level
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and operational focus areas
• Collaborate with Asset Management on budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure planning
• Track and manage regional Capex budgets and projects (MDA system)
• Ensure alignment between regional operations and central finance functions

Management & Performance Reporting

• Compile and review monthly financial management packs (Facilities, Debtors, Leasing, Property Management)
• Prepare partner and stakeholder reporting specific to regional operations
• Maintain accurate KPI/KPA tracking and structured reporting
• Develop weekly dashboards and performance metrics
• Coordinate weekly financial reporting submissions across regional functions
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Regional Financial & Operational Management

• Ensure compliance with delegation of authority and regulatory requirements
• Oversee regional office financial and administrative processes
• Act as the primary regional liaison with Central Finance
• Manage petty cash and monthly reconciliations
• Maintain effective financial control over regional assets

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional designation (CA(SA), CIMA, or similar) advantageous
• 5-10 years' experience in financial management, preferably in real estate
• Proven experience managing budgets, reporting, and multi-site financial operations
• Strong systems experience (MDA preferred) and advanced Excel skills
