Regional Buyer Furniture (Germiston) Media/Marketing/Sales

ENVIRONMENT:
A highly meticulous & solutions-driven Regional Buyer with in-depth knowledge of furniture product lines is wanted by a leading School Supplies Provider to join its Joburg team. The core role will entail managing and processing stock orders using Netstock and AX systems, sourcing and negotiating special buyouts for non-standard furniture items while supporting Sales teams with custom pricing, samples, and product knowledge. Candidates must have Matric/Grade 12, at least 3 years work experience in a Buying role preferably furniture, have a solid understanding of Buying and Supply Chain procedures, familiarity with Netstock and Axapta systems and knowledge of fast and slow movers, supplier terms, and company policies.
DUTIES:

• Manage and process stock orders using Netstock and AX systems.
• Source and negotiate special buyouts for non-standard furniture items.
• Obtain quotations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate and monitor stock take processes and variance reporting.
• Execute administrative duties including order processing, ETA tracking, and purchase order filing.
• Support Sales teams with custom pricing, samples, and product knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric Certificate / Grade 12. (Essential)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Buying role (preferably furniture).
• In-depth knowledge of furniture product lines.
• Familiarity with Netstock and Axapta systems.
• Understanding of Buying and Supply Chain procedures.
• Knowledge of fast and slow movers, supplier terms, and company policies
• Valid Drivers License essential.

Advantageous -

• Formal training in Buying, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
