Job Description
A vacancy exists for a Regional Agent Relationship Manager within Kazang-Merchant in Pretoria or North West.
The Regional Agent Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key Distribution Agents within the sales region.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding of new distribution agents into the Kazang regional sales teams.
- Managing existing key distribution agents.
- Supporting distribution agents to enable them to grow their sales bases.
- Hiring/managing administrators to support the agent base.
- Navigating influential persons in informal distribution businesses and onboarding them.
- Feeding back agent issues and requirements to the broader business.
- Matric
- 5 years experience in Sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
- Account management or business development in an FMCG or payments company.
- Experience in the peri-urban/rural informal economy is a plus.
- Microsoft Office
- High-growth mindset and self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills.
- Skilled in sales and negotiation at informal level as well as semi-corporate partners.
- Well networked within informal business environments.
- Works well within foreign national communities.
