Our client in the refrigeration industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Refrigeration Service Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualified refrigeration technician, Freon.
- 10+ years of experience after qualification.
- Safe handling of gas card.
- Ammonia CAT B will be an advantage.
- CO2 experience will be an advantage.
- Electrical trade will be an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal and Email communication skills.
- Computer Literate, MS Word, Excel.
- Driverxe2x80x99s license.
- Ability to work as a team and have good people skills.
- Ability to work well in high pressure environment.
- Ability to host staff meetings and delegate work.
- Smart Phone.
- Available after hours.
As a Refrigeration Service Manager, you are representing the company image. At all times you need to be presentable and be an example to your staff. You will need to lead and enforce company standards and discipline. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing leave liability, quotes on repairs and small projects.
- Checking of job costing.
- Manage job card status.
- Create bills of material.
- Update file server with relevant information.
- Schedule workflow.
- Assist staff technically where required.
- Assist admin staff with relevant information.
- Quality control of work performed.
- Grow customer base.
- Maintain current client relationships.
- Manage vehicles status.
- Create new processes where required.
- Report on turnover and profit against approved budgets.
- You will form part of the mentorship program.
