Job Advert Summary
Supreme Poultry is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The purpose of this role is to perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair and inspection work on complex refrigeration equipment.

Minimum Requirements
N2 Electrical/ Mechanical engineering. Refrigeration Trade Test & Ammonia Refrigeration Certificate. 2-4 years relevant experience. SARACCA Registered Category B Ammonia gas practitioner. HACCP.

Duties and Responsibilities
Scheduling and planning of maintenance work to be performed on the DMS system. Compiling periodic breakdown reports. Maintenance and repair of Refrigeration Compressors. Maintenance and repair of heat exchangers. Monitoring and maintenance and repair of Air Compressors. Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of condensers and water softener system. Responsible for all the valve stations on the plant. Liaise with Foreman on prevention of reoccurrence of breakdowns. Liaise with Maintenance Planner to ensure availability of critical spares. Attend to breakdown timeously. Analyse and ascertain the root-cause-analysis of breakdowns. Job cards input correctly submitted. Attend to job cards submitted for the required work. * Responsible to operate the machine according to SOPs and Health and safety procedures.
