Ensuring minimum downtime at the company's Durban operations, ensuring all preventative &corrective maintenance activities are completed according to plan & budget.
Manage and take overall responsibility for all maintenance, breakdowns, maintenance personnel and infrastructure for respective area & equipment.
Provide a safe and healthy environment for all to work in.

Duties & Responsibilities

Trade - Millwright OR Electrician
Consult with internal departments, Vendors and Suppliers to plan equipment downtime for service or maintenance. Provides support to vendors with onsite identification of possible faults or breakdowns.
Willingness to work extra hours / assist outside of business hours.
Performing a daily Preventative maintenance checklist for key equipment
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
Daily/Weekly/ Monthly:
Management meeting with Role players (OPS, Security, Health and Safety etc.)
