• Matric
• BEng/BSc degree in Industrial Engineering
• Autocad
• Microsoft Visio and Project Power BI Beneficial
• Low code programming experience (Mendix / Microsoft etc)
• Valid Drivers Licence + Own Transport
• Travel around in SA as well as globally if required
• Must have experience in Lean / CIP methodology Introduction to Change Management
• Project Management (PMBOK / Agile / etc)
• 2 years effective experience in leading & influencing a diverse group through planning and/or problem solving activities for effective outcomes;
• 3 years Industrial Engineering Experience in a supply chain environment:
• 3 years; Advanced Excel
• 3 years experience; Intermediate Autocad skills
• 1 year WMS / ERP Systems skill and experience
• Warehouse Design and Costing
• Pricing and Solutions RFQ's
• Good people skills required;
• xe2x80xa2 Customer relationship management experience:

1 years; xe2x80xa2 Highly adaptable to change xe2x80xa2 Sound knowledge of engineering economics and fundamental accounting principles * Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

• Data Cleaning & Analytics
• Supply Chain Management accreditation such as CSCP, SCOR-P, etc.
• Project Management accreditation such as Prince2 or PMP
• Detail oriented;
• Ability to train staff on new processes and software from White collar to Blue collar

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Initiating and implementing large continuous improvement projects of multiple operations. Driving change management and training to stabilize project and ensuring adoption. Creating business cases for automation and mechanization projects (including low code programming of operation specific applications). Implementing and stabilising automation and mechanisation projects. Apply principles of Lean, with the required data analysis to identify synergies and cost savings. Ensure Sigma best practices are considered and implemented from the start with new client implementation. Manage client CIP projects. Manage and grow junior logistic engineers through the graduate programme.

Duites and Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse data, processes and material flow related to existing operations in order to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build low code applications.
• Scope and manage various projects.
• Implement initiatives and monitor quantitative benefits of changes.
• Change Management: Ensure Change management is integrated into all projects implemented (ADKAR / Management of change)
• Risks and Issues Management: Apply sound risk management principles to all aspects of projects & engineering activities to ensure all risk factors are avoided, mitigated and/or managed in the best interests of CLIENT business, clients and staff.
• Develop business cases for financial investments where required, including ROI calculations, quantified value, productivity improvements, etc.
• Documenting, monitoring and communicating project timelines, milestones and objectives.
• Follow disciplined change management process to ensure that implemented changes that are sustainable.
• Problem solving facilitation and training where required.
• Training on Lean, Six Sigma & Change Management.
• Coaching of staff on Job clocking and Resource Planning .
• Implement automation and mechanization initiatives.
• Support major changes (tactical) within the warehouse with regards to processes, MHE, WMS, automation and mechanization.
• Manage and grow junior logistic engineers.
