Re Engineering Draughtsman
Job Description
Job Summary A well established company that offers professional steel processing services is currently recruiting for a Re-Engineering Draughtsman in the Germiston area The Re-Engineering Draughtsman is responsible for reverse-engineering existing components, redesigning outdated or obsolete parts, and producing accurate technical drawings and 3D models to support manufacturing improvements, cost reduction and product optimization. The role requires strong mechanical understanding, CAD proficiency and the ability to interpret engineering requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions Minimum Requirements o Grade 12 o Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo, Inventor or similar) o Good communication and teamwork skills o 3-5 years drafting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment o Previous experience in reverse engineering or redesign work highly advantageous o Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding and assembly processes Applicants who meet the criteria are invited to submit their CV.
