Job Description


Our client is a niche law firm specialising in financial recoveries and Property Law, and they require a Recruitment Manager with to join their team.

Duties:

  • Assist with developing the company through internal and external placements
  • Sourcing and screening CVxe2x80x99s
  • Maintenance of the recruitment database
  • Assisting managers in drafting detailed new staff requisitions forms
  • Handling communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Employment screening including Refcheck and / or Searchworks
  • Scheduling of interviews
  • Managing and maintain document folders
  • Handling of all communication and feedback to applicants
  • Monthly reporting on recruitment and vacancy statuses
  • Managing of job portals
  • Posting job ads on portals and social media feeds
  • Briefing in new positions to external providers, as and when needed
  • Developing of SOPs to improve efficiencies
  • Reviewing of existing SOPs and departmental policies to ensure they remain current
  • Handling billing for the department
  • Reporting issues to department heads
  • Escalating issues to direct line manager
Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 4 years in Recruitment
  • APSO registered
  • Excellent PC skills O365, Teams, Sharepoint, Excel etc.
  • Knowledge of Refcheck and / or Searchworks advantageous
  • Must have a clear criminal record and no judgments
  • Must be able to handle pressure, setbacks and high work volumes
  • Critical thinker with good problem solving skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management
  • Must maintain high confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Consistently identify areas for improvement
  • Reporting back to management with new implementation ideas
  • Process driven
  • Automate procedures to improve effectivity
  • Ability to manage a team of people should there be growth in the division
