Recruiter - Cape Town (Office-Based)
Multitask | Prioritise | Keep the Desk Moving
Are you the kind of person who can handle a dozen things at once without losing track? We're looking for a proactive, organised Recruiter to support a very busy desk. In this role, you'll constantly move between tasks -- typing a CV, then jumping onto an urgent client request, then handling compliance checks -- and once the urgent work is done, you'll go back and finish what you started. The ability to prioritise what's most important and still close off everything else is non-negotiable.

What You'll Be Doing
Switching between tasks all day: interviews, CV typing, compliance, client calls, and admin
Sourcing and screening candidates for temporary, contract, and permanent placements
Conducting interviews and completing reference checks
Advertising roles and managing responses across platforms
Preparing professional CVs and keeping the database up to date
Handling compliance, contracts, and timesheets for temps
Engaging confidently with clients and candidates
Providing after-hours support for urgent bookings when required
What You Need to Bring
Matric (essential)
Strong computer literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
2+ years recruitment or HR experience (agency background is a plus)
At least 1 year strong admin experience
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and return to unfinished work without dropping anything
Excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans (written and spoken)
A good head for numbers and strong attention to detail
Resilient, driven, and a real team player
