The Receptionist/Opera Experience role based in Groothoek, North West, is a key position within the Travel, Leisure, Tourism, and Hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Job Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly
- Handle reservations and bookings efficiently
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
- Provide information on local attractions, events, and services
- Utilise Opera software for managing reservations and guest information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Opera software or similar reservation systems
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. Additional certification in hospitality or related field is desirable.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Additional language proficiency is an advantage
- Certification in Opera software or similar reservation systems
This role involves working in a dynamic and customer-focused environment. The Receptionist/Opera Experience may be required to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
