The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company, providing a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, clients, and employees. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with a positive and helpful attitude.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
Provide accurate information and assistance to callers and visitors.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and well-organized.
Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations.
Monitor and maintain office supplies, and place orders when needed.
Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations, as needed.
Invoicing of orders.
Qualifications:
Matric ; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
Proven work experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High School (matric) (Required)
Preferably from Clairwood, Bluff, Chatsworth and surrounds to save on travel costs daily
