An exclusive luxury boutique hotel on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast is seeking a well-presented and professional Receptionist to join its front-of-house team. This permanent position offers a salary of R8,000 - R10,000 per month, with excellent career development opportunities in luxury hospitality.
Description
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in/check-out process.
Responsibilities include handling reservations, managing guest queries, coordinating with other departments, and providing information about the hotel's services and surrounding area.
The role also involves processing payments, maintaining guest records, managing switchboard and emails, and assisting with administrative tasks. Professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
The successful candidate will be guest-focused, service-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-end boutique setting that prides itself on personalised hospitality.
Compensation:

• Salary: R8,000 - R10,000 per month

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12; hospitality diploma or certificate advantageous
• 1-2 years' front office or reception experience in hotels or luxury hospitality
• Knowledge of hotel reservations and PMS systems (Opera experience advantageous)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Professional appearance with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
