Job Description


Our client in the Pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a Receptionist, in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome all office visitors upon their arrival.
  • Professionally guide visitors to the appropriate individual or office location.
  • Efficiently manage incoming phone calls, screening and directing them as necessary.
  • Maintain the reception area in a neat and inviting manner, stocked with essential supplies.
  • Provide accurate information to visitors and callers, both in-person and through phone/email.
  • Handle the receipt, sorting, and distribution of daily mail and deliveries.
  • Uphold office security by adhering to safety protocols and overseeing access through the reception desk, including the monitoring of the logbook and issuing visitor badges.
  • Proactively manage front office supplies, keeping a well-organized inventory.
  • Keep calendars updated and assist in scheduling meetings.
  • Facilitate travel and accommodation arrangements, while also preparing relevant vouchers.
  • Assist with various clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Martic)
  • Diploma or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Switchboard knowledge advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Good telephone communication etiquette.
Remuneration:
  • Up to 10 000 CTC per month.
