Fruitways is a leading agri-business in South Africa. We specialise in the growing, packing and marketing of apples and pears to retailers, traders and wholesalers around the globe.
RECEPTIONIST
We have a career opportunity for an independent and reliable individual who can represent the company in a professional manner. Reporting to the HR Practitioner on site, you will be based at our Valley packhouse in the Grabouw area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the switchboard, reception area and meeting room while maintaining courteous and professional interactions with all visitors as well as internal correspondence.
- General administrative duties: including managing petty cash and issuing purchase orders, ensuring all relevant administration is accurate, up to date and accessible.
- Coordinate duty driver transport.
- Assist on-site HR Practitioner with accurate data capturing and efficient administrative support where needed.
- Gather and file registers and certificates for health and safety committee
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 2-3 years' working experience in reception or administrative position
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel (Intermediate level essential).
- Effective and professional written and verbal communications skills
- Strong customer focus with ability to be patient and polite at all times.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to plan and organise independently
