Job Summary Receptionist - Noor Cape Boutique Hotel (Cape Town) Location: Cape Town, South Africa Property: Noor Cape - 12-room Boutique Hotel Employment Type: Full-time Reporting to: General Manager About Noor Cape Noor Cape is an exclusive 12-room boutique hotel in Cape Town, offering an elegant and culturally refined hospitality experience tailored primarily to Middle Eastern travelers . The hotel combines luxury; discretion, and South African warmth ; ensuring every guest enjoys a personalized and memorable stay. Position Overview We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a welcoming attitude, and a natural ability to sell additional guest services such as transfers, excursions, local experiences, and safaris. Basic knowledge of Arabic is an advantage, while English fluency is essential . Key Responsibilities Welcome and check in/out guests efficiently and professionally. Manage reservations, guest communications, and payments. Promote and sell extra services (airport transfers, tours, experiences, and restaurant bookings). Provide concierge-style assistance and information about Cape Town and surrounding attractions. Coordinate guest requests with housekeeping, kitchen, and management. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk. Maintain accurate guest records, invoicing, and reporting. Uphold the highest standards of guest service, confidentiality, and cultural respect. Requirements Minimum 2-3 years' experience in reception or guest relations, ideally in a hotel or boutique property . Fluent in English (spoken and written); basic Arabic is an advantage. Strong computer and reservation system skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell services confidently. Professional appearance, reliability, and attention to detail. Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. Remuneration Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
