Receptionist (3 Month Contract)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a friendly and reliable Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for three months. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the office, ensuring smooth front desk operations, answering calls, and assisting visitors.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • One year working experience as a Receptionist or similar role
  • Experience of managing a switchboard
  • Computer literate
  • Must be presentable with good communication skills
Skills required:
  • Good people skills
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Professional and friendly
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willing to learn
  • Verbal and written communication (Afrikaans and English)
Duties will include:
  • Reception
  • Switchboard
  • Sending and receiving parcels from courier
  • Ad hoc administration
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested
Remuneration:
R10 000 Cost to Company
Working hours:
Monday to Friday from 08h00 till 16h30
