Job Summary Key Responsibilities: o Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures. o Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently. o Process payments accurately and handle guest accounts. o Provide detailed information about the guest house facilities, services, and local amenities. o Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. o Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. o Handle incoming calls and correspondence. o Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. o Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and customer service. o Overseeing housekeeping. Requirements: o Residency: Must reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town (e.g., Plattekloof, Bellville, Durbanville, Parow, Goodwood, etc.). o Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a receptionist, specifically within the hospitality industry (e.g., hotels, guest houses, lodges). o Skills: o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. o Proficiency in reservation software (NightsBridge) and Microsoft Office Suite. o A professional and polished appearance with a friendly and approachable demeanor. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Problem-solving skills and a calm approach under pressure. o Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
