Job Description
Purpose of the Job
To accurately document the receipt of goods and compare actual invoices with goods received. Assist in physically receiving stock.
Receiving Stock
Checking and capturing of invoices
To accurately document and follow through on returns or destruction of stock
Handling damaged or expired stock or short-dated stock
Processing Stock in quarantine for batch recall
.Product Complaints
Job Objectives
Receive the stock from specific customer / from within warehouse Expiry dates checked & Damage to stock checked Ensure Information captured Compliance to SOP Liaise telephonically and via email with customers and suppliers Follow up with supplier once the query is logged Check stock integrity Check and capture invoices Oversee checkers and assist with any queries regarding checking
Qualifications
Grade 12 qualification
Experience
2 - 3 years' experience in receiving warehouse goods advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Working on Operating System
Internal company procedures and policies
Verbal and Written Communication
Numeracy skills
Working towards deadlines
Attention to detail
Accuracy
