Receiving Manager/Supervisor Cape Town Distribution / Transport / Logistics / Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Receiving Manager to oversee all inbound stock and product processes. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient management of incoming goods, requiring a hands-on leader who can balance operational oversight, client communication, and administrative precision. You will bring proven management experience, a solid background in FMCG, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate (essential)
• Minimum 3 years management experience within FMCG
• Strong computer literacy with advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven organisational and analytical ability
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Manage all inbound stock, vehicle bookings, off-loading, and documentation
• Ensure accuracy in stock reconciliation, blind checks, and inbound balancing
• Liaise with clients regarding discrepancies and ensure corrective actions
• Supervise materials handling equipment and ensure maintenance schedules
• Complete commercial invoices, receipts, and intercompany processing

Meet IGV cut-off and month-end deadlines while maintaining SOP compliance
