Real Estate Senior Data Analyst

your purpose

To provide analytical solutions and insight that give meaningful information which contributes to sound business decision making process. To optimize, identify and implement selected group real estate strategic projects, ways of working & initiatives by driving business improvements, innovation and efficiencies - communicating these to MD and Divisional Directors. This includes managing initiatives that contribute to strategic objectives within the divisions. In addition, analyse and interpret store performance data to provide guidance on new store openings, revamps, closures and relocations.

your day to day responsibilities

Analytics and Insight
1. Thorough interpretation of data, identify data patterns & trends to report on/provide insights that enhance business decision making capability & planning that leads to actionable insights.
2. Maintain current, accurate and consistent data that is readily available.
3. Identifies areas of improvement & recommends enhancements to operational policies to ensure data quality.

Reporting
1. Build and extract reports as per specifications.
2. Ensure the timely development and/or presentation of reports and analytics to various stakeholders, ensuring all reports are in keeping with the required function and group's policy and procedures.
3. Provide recommendations and actionable insights based on interpreting reports to ensure any opportunities or risks identified are investigated.
4. Provide insight into strategic initiatives, renewals, return on space and revamps

Innovation and Business improvement Process
1. Addressing the change implications associated with process and continuous improvement.
2. Conduct regular retrospectives and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
3. Assess project risks and mitigate them

Data Modelling
Understanding source systems to model data with conformed measures in support of the divisions strategy

Innovation and Business improvement
1. Identify new, innovative ways of working with the application of various new approaches and technologies to improve and streamline processes and to reduce risk.

Real Estate Group Project Management
1. Oversees and runs group Real Estate projects (new, special projects, optimisation & sustainability) from initial meeting to completion to ensure project delivery within timing and budget. This includes the management of resources and teams required to deliver on the project's outcome.

Space/Real Estate
1. Implement and enforce strict feasibility and process protocols to maximize the efficiency and profitability of new/existing space.

what are the requirements?

Tertiary Qualification in IT/BSc (mathematics, statistics) or similar.

5 to 8 Years experience in data analytics. Project Management within Fashion Retail or Retail advantageous.

An ability to analyse and interpret data. Data Modelling & BI Report development experience, advanced Excel and Tableau.
