Our client is a dynamic firm operating in the real estate investment space. They are seeking a technically skilled and proactive financial professional to support their M&A and asset management functions as they continue to grow.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Real Estate Private Equity - Acquisitions Associate with 2-3 years of experience in financial modeling, M&A, and private equity. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional who is deeply familiar with complex financial models and fluent in the language of finance.
This role will be a key part of the team, responsible for both M&A analysis and some asset management duties. You will work closely with leadership, contributing directly to critical investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain complex financial models, including LBO models and 5-year real estate models.
Develop and manage equity and debt waterfall models.
Conduct in-depth M&A analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
Assist with asset management responsibilities for the existing portfolio.
Collaborate with the leadership team on Excel-based modeling and financial assessments.
Prepare reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
2-3 years of direct experience in financial modeling, M&A, and private equity.
Proven experience building LBO models, equity waterfalls, debt waterfalls, and 5-year real estate models.
Tech-savvy with a high level of proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
Fluent in finance "jargon" with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
