Job Description
Key Output
- Complete service jobs daily, stores requisitions, timesheets and fill in failure reports.
- Complete daily inspection sheets and sign off job cards.
- Plan weekly Service Jobs and carry out according to OEM standards.
- Conduct fluid sampling and feedback according to required standard.
- Arrange and order consumables/ spares for maintenance.
- Perform maintenance in accordance with maintenance procedure.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at all times.
- Perform pre-used checks and fill in check lists, sign off operator check lists.
- Ensure correct start up function is performed.
- Perform hydraulic system fault finding check.
- Perform Periodic standby and call out
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3, Post apprenticeship/learner ship.
- Machine specific technical knowledge and skills.
- Shovels experience will be an advantage.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
- Some Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge.
- Applicable product knowledge.
- Driver's licence - Code B.
- Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures.
