Thorburn Security Solutions is looking for highly motivated candidates to fill the role of Reaction Officer. Reporting to the Security Manager, successful candidates will be responsible for supporting security operations through a strong visible presence, conducting daily escort duties, responding swiftly to incidents, and ensuring the protection of client assets, employees, and visitors. Candidates must be able to drive well, follow operational protocols, and uphold security regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Protect employees of the customer, visitors, buildings, & Movable Assets
• Provide a high-visibility security presence to deter and respond to potential threats.
• Conduct daily escort duties in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure the protection of client assets, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor and report any security-related incidents promptly and accurately.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and security breaches.
• Adhere to security protocols, procedures, and client site regulations.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a professional and disciplined image at all times.
• Support overall security operations as directed by the Security Manager.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 2 years' experience
• PSIRA Grade B certificate
• Armed response certificate
• Firearm Competency (Handgun & Shotgun )
• Business Purpose
• Excellent report writing skills;
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Valid driver's license with proven driving experience.
• Clear criminal record.
