Minimum Requirements
Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent;
Diploma in Financial Management/ Accounting;
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years' appropriate experience in Asset Management/ Finance Administrator;
Knowledge of Computers will be an added advantage;
Knowledge of GRAP standards related to assets;
Knowledge:
+ Basic knowledge of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures and Treasury Regulations (PFMA) Financial Manual;
+ Basic knowledge of financial functions
+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities
Upkeep and consolidation of the assets register;
Capture newly acquired assets into the system;
Record movement of assets across campuses and Corporate Centre;
Prepare the write off list and dispose of assets;
Administer the bi-annual asset verification across all campuses and Corporate Centre;
Reconcile physical assets with the register and investigate discrepancies;
Ensure new and existing assets are barcoded at Corporate Centre and Campuses;
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and asset control policies;
Prepare asset management reports;
Assist with audit queries relating to asset management;
Ensure compliance with DHET guidelines, GRAP, and College policies;
Filing and maintaining asset documentation;
Support other administrative and office functions related to Finance/Asset Management.
