Randpark Ridge - HOMESCHOOL TEACHER/TUTOR - MORNINGS

Daughter in Grade 11 and Son in Grade 6 - bright, curious learners with ADHD

Working hours:

Mon - Fri 08:00 - 13:30

Duties:

Facilitate and teach the children curriculums. General Curriculum Support in all prescribed Subjects. Plan, structure, and deliver lessons that meet educational standards. Ensure all work is done correctly, understood and handed in on time. Ensure all concepts are grasped. Making a list of supplies needed for lessons. Full facilitation of the online school curriculum. Come up with different learning methods to ensure concepts are grasped and retained.

Requirements:

A qualified, committed teacher who thrives in a smaller, personal learning setup, Kind, patient, and creative in approach, with a genuine passion for teaching. Able to plan, structure, and deliver lessons that meet educational standards. Willing to travel with the children occasionally for educational outings or extra learning support. Ready to commit for at least two years, until our daughter completes matric (longer would be an advantage). Able to assist with Grade 6 and 7 subjects. Able to assist with basics of Grade 11 Maths, Science, and Life Science as well as Eng, Afrik, CAT and LO.

Notes:

A home-based classroom that runs like a traditional school (08:00-13:30 daily). All curriculum materials, resources, and family support provided. 12-month salary, paid even during holidays and December. R200 cell phone allowance and travel reimbursements. Start date:

January 2026 - Permanent role

Salary:

Experienced Tutor:

R15000 per month (gross, before deductions).

Qualified Teacher:

R18000 - R20000 per month (gross, before deductions). Depending on Experience and qualifications.



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
