Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng. As a Quantity Surveyor in our firm, you will play a critical role in managing and controlling the costs for various construction projects. You will be responsible for providing accurate quantity and cost calculations, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
Responsibilities
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for construction projects
- Preparing and analyzing cost breakdowns and estimates
- Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
- Performing risk analysis and developing contingency plans
- Overseeing contract administration and negotiation with suppliers and contractors
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project efficiency
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on cost and schedule variances
- BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
- Registered with the SACQSP as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor
- Proficient in the use of DimX & WinQS
- Experience in commercial, residential & retail projects
- Between 3 - 5 years' experience within a consulting firm
- Salary: R360K/yr - R540K/yr, salary negotiable
